To create an app and community specific to teenagers and young adults in support of their mental health.
Grace-Rose was born with Cystic Fibrosis, a life-threatening genetic disease that attacks the internal organs. As she entered her early teenage years, understanding the progression of CF, she began experiencing heightened anxiety and panic attacks. This, along with being bullied at school and having a medical ER at home, led her to literally “Check-out”. Her mother, Leah, allowed her to leave school temporarily to seek counseling and begin a daily meditation practice at a non-denominational center that felt like a ‘community’.
This was incredibly helpful with managing her anxiety and calming her thoughts. She realized that most teens don’t have access to this. Technology and phones are where they spend the majority of their time - this led to developing a mentally healthy online
community for teens.
